Of Traffic and List

Every webmaster with a website needs to get traffic. For anyone selling anything through a website, he needs a type of traffic that’s different.

THE BUYERS TRAFFIC.

The question really is, “what do I do with all the traffic I get to my site?” It’s already a given that not everyone who comes to your website will become your customer. In as phenomenal as your conversion rates may be - let’s say 4% where every 4 in 100 visitors will go on to become your customers - what do you do with the other 96%?

BUILD A LIST.

1. It’s already a given that NOT everyone will become your customer on first contact. People who leave your website without buying anything might not return again.

2. Build a relationship and further rapport. So this is where list building comes in. If you can’t gain trust on first contact, then it needs to be built over time through your email marketing efforts.

3. Sell other products and future releases. Whether your prospects buy your Front-End or not, the buck musn’t stop there. True business people make offers all the time. True marketers sell, all the time.

4. Source of free affiliates? While you can further convert more prospects into customers through your follow-up email marketing, there will still be a fraction more of non-buyers. Don’t be quick to treat them as ‘dead wood’ yet. Some are interested in your offer but may be financially challenged at the moment. However they can still tell others about your product and this is where throwing in a free affiliate program might just do the trick!
