Hey, it’s Edmund here with a quick heads up on the 7 Day Private Label Rights Sale special I’m launching online next week!

You can sign up to my Advanced Notification List to get regular updates and also early access when the PLR Special is about to launch:

==> http://privatelabelrightsgold.com/imcourse

Something to share with you…

We’re almost coming to an end for Year 2009. When I looked back this year, I realized that I’ve been only half as active in the Internet Marketing arena compared to my yesteryears. Yet the income I’ve been enjoying this year is greater…

In spite of the global economic downturn.

In spite of working half as hard as the last 4 years.

I’m not telling you this to brag. I had my own adventure outside the working-from-home style and it’s been a roller coaster ride since. I’ll blog about that some other time.

I owe a lot of my online success and time freedom today to building a solid online business empire in the past few years. The days and nights I’ve been toiling at the computer – from groping in the dark to desperate trial and errors. I remember them as clearly as if it had all happened just yesterday.

I spent a lot of time creating information and digital products to build my bridge to money and time freedom. And hey, it’s SUPER time consuming I tell you. Ask anyone who has created any digital product of his own.

Granted, there are people who can create products overnight (and I’ve done that before) but how often can they put in so much energy? They would just crash and burn.

I started to outsource a lot of my product creation work to freelance ghostwriters later in my online marketing career. But that’s not how I started out in my early days.

If you can relate to any of my challenges when I was just starting out – and you especially hate the idea of writing or creating products – I think you will really like this new PLR package I’m putting into the market next week.

If you have bought any of my previous PLRGold products before then you will know that behind my brand, comes quality.

But the new PLR package I’m releasing soon is going to be, in one word, DIFFERENT.

==> http://privatelabelrightsgold.com/imcourse

In a nutshell, this massive PLR collection is based on proven materials I have used to conduct an online marketing workshop and also my past presentations. It is now revamped, updated and compiled for both online and offline multimedia use so you can:

- put your name as the author and become an instant expert in your own rights!

- edit the contents

- sell and keep 100% of the sales!

- save your time, effort and money from creating your own product from scratch!

- repurpose as membership content, blog content, e-zine content, small reports, articles…

- use to conduct your own offline presentations (if you are a coach or speaker)

- repackage as physical home study course or DVD

- and so much more… this is just the tip of the iceberg on what you can do with my latest PLR package you’ll be seeing in the market soon.

I’ve teamed up with my partner Elle Wong on this one, and she’s the brains behind a lot of the works that went into creating this high quality multimedia course.

Incidentally, this is going to be the last product launch I’m doing for the year.

I think I’ve dropped in a few teasers too many. I’m keeping the rest of the details under the wraps so until launch day, I urge you to sign up to the Advanced Notification List now and be the first to know when the 7 Day PLR Special starts!

==> http://privatelabelrightsgold.com/imcourse

Mark this time and date on your calendar too:

2nd November 2009, Monday at 8:00 AM Eastern Time

Only limited Private Label Rights licenses will be sold, and I suspect this will separate the big market players in the making from the rest of the mediocre.

Here’s to your online marketing success… 2010 and beyond!

It’s been two weeks since the Mega Red Packet launch ended, and it is now selling permanently at retail price. Although still busy with customer support and having just settled down in my new apartment in Petaling Jaya, I want to document the Mega Red Packet launch report while it’s still fresh in my mind.

This is my most successful product launch to date, with the 10 day launch special raked in $301,801 (or RM1,056,303.50) in sales.

Idea Conception

The idea on doing Mega Red Packet brewed on the same day I discussed the IMGuerilla project with Vince Tan over a cup of coffee at Starbucks, The Curve, back in late December 2007.

Mega Red Packet’s mission and objectives were very ambiguous back then as we were focusing on accomplishing one product launch at a time. We just agreed that Mega Red Packet should be a massive online sale that runs for 7 days.

Problems

It took another year before starting the Mega Red Packet project. In spite of him being my best business partner to date, Vince and I didn’t do well with the first two launches together.

And to do something that lived up to the name “Mega Red Packet” was more difficult than we thought. We didn’t want Mega Red Packet to be just another product launch. Or just another firesale. Since its goals weren’t clearly defined we didn’t risk carrying out the project with such a foggy direction for Mega Red Packet.

Admittedly, our personal lives and own relationships to deal with didn’t make it any easy.

Introducing A New Partner To The Project

I am choosy with who I work with on a partnership basis. And Stephen Luc passed my test. When we pulled in $100,000 in 10 days from PLRGold: Videos together, I knew right away that Stephen is an integral part of our success with Mega Red Packet. And not too long later, Vince did the Biggest Firesale event in the same month – November 2008 – and generated $170,000 in 10 days.

It was meant to be. Mega Red Packet is next.

Stephen is American. He can do good videos. Handle customer support. Take care of technical aspects with Vince. And he is of Asian descendant.

Vince wasn’t sold on the idea initially, until I convinced him to let Stephen join us to form the dynamic trio.

The years of experience with Internet Marketing and witnessing many strategies finally gave me greater clarity I couldn’t see just a year ago.

And I suppose this is where working at McDonald’s at the age of 16 paid off in dividends.

“What if we franchise out our success?”

This became a big part of the Mega Red Packet component: franchising out our current Internet Marketing success in the form of Reseller Memberships, Franchise Business and new Private Label Rights.

What about traffic? People always need traffic. The demand for it can never run out. If we didn’t answer that question well, Mega Red Packet would set itself up for failure.

And so the answer was Traffic Leopard – our upcoming home study course to be sold in physical format. Only this time we gave our our digital version as part of Mega Red Packet. We also talked and negotiated with other webmasters who own traffic building sites so our Mega Red Packet members could draw instant traffic from them.

Throw in other components such as Premium Software, member’s forum, and a series Fast Action Bonuses – Mega Red Packet finally saw its big picture.

It’s all work from here on.

Product Creation In 5 Months

Having learned our lesson from two failed launches together revealed its rewards. If Mega Red Packet is to be the best, we need to hire the best people. And we NEED to be the best people to run the big show.

All these while, we had always been trying to save whatever we can and go cheap. Vince and I were probably raised that way. Hah! But not this time.

Investing a lot more money than usual quickly grew uncomfortable for us since we were so used to low-cost, high-profit lifestyle. I challenged myself nonetheless. If I wanted to be really, really rich and successful I had to stop being too cheapskate.

Vince probably found his way around though. He’s a master at bargaining and quoting a friend, “With Vince, nothing is ever full price.” I still needed a good bargainer like him on the team though at times I wonder if he gets his daily newspaper free just by taking from his neighbor after they’re done.

And I found Stephen was just as much the same as us.

Anyways more time spent doing the project meant more profit potential gone so we needed to overcome the product creation. LIKE FAST.

We hired copywriters – 3 in all – to write our sales copies. One of them was Kenneth Yu, the master copywriter who formerly worked for Mindvalley Labs and his clients have raked in millions of dollars using his copy. I could write our own copy but like I said, we needed to outsource as much as we can if we wanted the product creation done faster.

We also got Zaizen Goro to do our graphics. Like Kenneth, he hails from Malaysia. But one of the best nonetheless.

Dennis and Vicky came in the wee hours of the launch to join our technical support team. And with Stephen operating on low-cost and man, he sure works like a machine, we got everything we needed down pat in 5 months.

It was relatively fast for a project THIS HUGE. I think if we had attempted to do everything on our own and tried to launch without Stephen it may take us a year.

Game Plan

This was going to be our first high ticket product launch and we wanted Mega Red Packet to stay even after the 10 day event is over. No more “sell for 7 days and close the sale forever”. It works – sometimes. The scarcity factor is good – sometimes. But there was no continuity of income and it would create the “fly by night” impression for newbies to the world of Internet Marketing.

So we had to find a space between all the advantages available to us.

SCARCITY: For the first 10 days, people can get Mega Red Packet at early bird price.

CONTINUITY: Mega Red Packet will sell at its retail price after the 10 days launch price is up.

BARRIER OF ENTRY: 3 EZY payment plans were made available.

Initially we set our sights for $497. Then $697. Then $997. Then back to $697. Yes, we panicked and we weren’t sure whether we could make it.

One of the major lessons I learned from my failed launch last year was “the message”. Is it clear this time? Will people know what it is? How can I explain Mega Red Packet in 30 seconds?

If I told one person, then he told the other person in the ear, and then another, then another… and to the 10th person whispering back into my ear – will the message be the same?

So I spent A LOT OF TIME writing a clear, easy message on Mega Red Packet. It boiled down to only this:

“We’ve Done Everything For You.”

The message was easy. Delivering the promise was another matter altogether though. And we can only find that out on launch day.

The Pre-Launch Strategy

Vince’s ingenious pre-launch strategy worked like a charm. It was the same strategy he used for Biggest Firesale 2008. Twitter and Facebook made it a whole lot more easy aside from people blogging about us.

4 weeks to launch day on 4th May, we kick started the Joint Venture recruitment drive and 2 weeks to launch, we started the pre-launch sequence.

We gave our existing affiliates at AMLOH-Central.com Twitter messages and blog posts to use, with a distilled message on “busting the recession using proven Internet formulas”.

And for every person who joined our Advanced Notification List, their referrer’s affiliate ID was hard cookied so on launch day, they will receive an email from our system with their referrer’s affiliate ID.

Just before launch:

- 3,210 web pages and blogs found on Google are talking about it

- 209 tweets (and counting) on Twitter about this online event

- 2,000 subscribers were on the Advanced Notification List, 3 of which would stand a chance to win a FREE copy by random selection

- This would run for 10 days only and 1,000 spots will be available at launch price special

We motivated affiliates to push the pre-launch with a pre-launch contest in an effort to generate buzz and interest in the Internet Marketing arena.

Joint Venture recruitment didn’t went so well at first. Vince did his best and so did Stephen, even though marketing isn’t his best skill in the hand of cards. Fortunately, my past reciprocal promotion efforts with some big players finally paid off in dividends.

Vince successfully got in Ewen Chia. I got Michael Rasmussen. I have never heard of people offering to make bonuses for their own top affiliates so I had to be the first to do the honor. I made a custom bonus package for Michael, Ewen, Calvin Woon, and also Ian del Carmen. Jeremy Gislason and Simon Hodgkinson came in the last minute, miraculously. I wasn’t counting on them as they had Marketing Main Event 4 to push, only to be postponed to a later time.

Mega Red Packet: Launch and Warzone

Stephen, Vince and I were nerve wrecks 1 whole day before the launch. We slept less hours, went on more walks, and anxiety built up. Were we going to make it or fall flat on our faces after 6 months of hard work, including pre-launch? Time would tell after we change the index.php page on the servers.

At 8:00 AM Eastern Time, we were in for it.

The soundtrack of the Russian March from Call of Duty: World at War kept looping in the desktop. Sales were slow. Could be times were REALLY horrible in the States?

For the first 2 days, I slept no more than 4 hours and spent most mornings walking out to calm my nerves. Then I had a brilliant idea. Why not introduce 6 EZY payment plans?

We also suspected Stephen could have done a better video so Stephen did one on the spot.

And all these DOUBLED our conversions. The sexy Virtual Chat Agents saved nearly 30% of our sales which otherwise would have been lost. And in the last 48 hours, we threw in a final 48 hour showdown to motivated JV Partners and affiliates for the final push.

The Mega Engines had to be introduced earlier than we needed if we wanted to make more sales and salvage a dying launch. Fortunately, not only did we save it in time – it turned out to be our best record to date for a product launch. For all 3 of us. And for our merry affiliates.

Amateur launch makers will claim they have hundreds of people on board their launch. Professional players in the field know that it takes only a handful of individuals to pull off the launch. And Mega Red Packet needed only a handful of key players.

To the tune of less than 60 people who have made sales for us in the first 10 days. And that was our ticket to $300,000 – or our first 1 million Malaysian Ringgits for a product launch. Damn, we make Malaysia proud.

But Mega Red Packet came with a price: massive customer support and technical servicing. We promised to set up the websites for our members. 9 per person. More than 500 members and you do the math.

Post Launch: Summary

As I am writing this, we have to help many members with their websites. Some needed more help. No matter. I am glad I took Vince’s suggestion in setting up a forum. I had second thoughts initially, knowing how fast forums die.

But it made the community grew tighter and closer.

Mega Red Packet, after everything, was NOT just a product launch. It was a platform to change everyone’s financial fortunes. Especially for our members. Launching it wasn’t easy. Introducing the idea was harder.

But I believed – we believed – that nothing is better than duplicating success. And if we can help hundreds of other shape their Internet Marketing future based on our current success, Mega Red Packet has done its job. Successfully.

And it wouldn’t be there without the help of our highly esteemed affiliates and Joint Venture partners. This launch has taught me many great lessons I wouldn’t have otherwise discovered before, and I am glad I was in this process with my best partners in business to date, Vince and Stephen.

The Hall Of Fame Is Erected Here:

=> http://amloh-central.com/halloffame/megaredpacket

I had set my sights on making Mega Red Packet the most successful launch for me – for us – to date. Even to beat my recent record with PLRGold: Videos.

The first time I did a launch that broke $100,000 was PLRGold Master Rights Pack 5 back in September 2007. That took 3 months.

In November 2008, I broke that again in a month.

And in Mega Red Packet, all 3 of us made the run and TRIPLED that in 10 days.

It’s only a matter of time before we go for the million dollar launch, and nothing is more satisfying than having a successful goal achieved before I moved on with something else in my personal life: settling down in Petaling Jaya to meet new people and challenges – and to re-enroll into college. Something that I would really like to complete now, since I didn’t have the chance 6 years ago.

Thank you all for your support.

If you’ve been keeping tabs, I am launching the Mega Red Packet online event next week with my team partners Vince Tan and Stephen Luc.

This is the first time I am doing a huge online marketing event and as there are 5 days left to the big launch day, I’ve been working around the clock with my team to make this event a success!

Here’s the skinny…

In the past 6 months, my team and I invested almost $100,000 in monetary and man power to produce this project. The objectives were to create a string of ready-made products for people to take and sell as their own right away, therefore skipping the product creation process.

“Isn’t this the same as Private Label Rights?” While there will be new Private Label Rights titles, the main focus is in providing a series of proven business models that sell proven products with existing hot demand. This come in the form of Reseller Memberships and Franchise Businesses.

“And what about traffic?” Most “business-in-a-box” solutions often tackle just the product creation part but leaves the traffic finding puzzle to the struggling Internet Entrepreneur. This is where another chunk of our investment went into – solving the traffic puzzle.

All these put together is the premise of the Mega Red Packet: to solve the product creation AND traffic generation altogether… so that the person can now possibly get started with a string of Internet Businesses under his control – AND make his first wave of sales in as little as a few days!

I have to admit that putting all these together was far from easy.

Creating a product takes time. Creating more products take even more time.

Finding targeted traffic is hard. Find targeted traffic by the volumes is even harder.

I know. We know. We’ve been through this process through and through. And having met so many people who are just starting out, most of them dropped like flies to the ground after being swatted by the staggering challenges.

So I wanted to conceive the Mega Red Packet project with the vision of helping 1,000 people cut out the process of learning from big books, skip product creation process and get all the traffic they need and want at their finger tips.

It sounded dreamy and unrealistic at first… but after having worked on this for close to half a year, it became part of our second nature and in the realm of humanly possible.

The doors will be open officially next Monday on 4th May 2009. I urge you to watch this video now to get a better idea, and then sign up to the Advanced Notification List.

1. Originally, I was going to title this post “My Respond to Global Financial Crisis” but with all the wailing going on TV and many other people echoing doom into my ears, I feel very compelled to say, “so what?”

2. Truth is, this is nothing new. Although the economy worldwide is deteriorating aggressively since late 2007 (since when has our country’s economy been good anyway?) – and I admit I was initially afraid that this might put a dent on my business – but I have every reason to believe that there are always opportunities to be seized, in good times and bad.

3. Money is like energy. It doesn’t get lost or destroyed; it just transfers from one hand to the other (unless you deliberately set the pile of money on fire of course).

4. That being said, there will always be people profiting from what many others would call bad times. The only sad part is only very few can see and seize such opportunities.

5. And what if I were to tell you that many of the events the world is witnessing now is actually orchestrated and manipulated in front of our eyes right now? At the risk of going off topic, I’ll discuss this subject another time.

6. When the financial crisis hit Malaysia and several other countries in South East Asia in 1997 through 1998, I remember my father was cursing and getting frustrated that his business was severely affected by it. Being 12 at that time, I was too young to understand. Now that I am in business for my own, the current global financial crisis made me more determined to explore opportunities and increase my Financial IQ (yep, that’s the keyword).

7. To me it’s simple. If the shark doesn’t bite me, why should I scream? While I sympathize with relatives, neighbors and people who have lost their jobs or businesses affected by the global financial crisis, I’m puzzled: why many others who aren’t affected aren’t maximizing their blessings?

8. I don’t waste time passing around the bad news. It may be real, but parroting the bad news doesn’t solve problems. Responding to it does.

9. Looking on the other side of the coin, the tough times that the world is facing now can also be seen as a test to many of us. The strongest will survive, the weaker will be perish.

10. For many business owners, they will finally get to see what they have been unnecessarily spending on, and use this opportunity to cut out the ‘dead wood’ from their operations.

11. And the employed will see the moment of truth whether they are truly an asset to the company they are serving, or otherwise.

12. Speaking of employment, this is one of the many big proofs that seeking employment is just as risky as starting your own business. While there are odds of failing at running your own business, it’s no safer in the world of employment. A lot of fresh graduates my generation are either jobless or have landed themselves in jobs and pays that “weren’t quite part of their plan”. And not to mention the risk of being laid off today.

13. So my response to global financial crisis? This is motivation for me to get smarter with my money – make, leverage, protect.

14. I recommend reading Rich Dad’s Increase Your Financial IQ. Go find it in your nearest book store or order on Amazon. This book was published in late 2007, just before the major worldwide financial crisis that we have all experienced in 2008. A lot of what was mentioned in this book holds very true and applicable today, more than ever. I won’t spill everything out from the book, but in short the best response to today’s global financial crisis and building your own wealth in tough times is exhibiting a higher Financial IQ.

15. If you are in business of any kind, this is also the best time to explore other income streams in recession proof areas.

16. Despite of the ‘doom and gloom’ news we keep hearing on the media and from the people around us:

(a) Google reports strong sales despite recession [NEWS here]

(b) Some companies like Wal-Mart thrive despite recession [NEWS here]

(c) Check out the 10 countries least affected by the US Financial Crisis here. (Malaysians, you will be surprised to see that our country is in the list. Not as bad as you think after all, right?)

(d) Home video sales and rentals are strong despite recession [NEWS here]

(f) E-Commerce? So far not a disaster. CNET NEWS report so.

(g) Really, it’s not. LightInTheBox.com, an online Chinese distribution channel, tripled its sales in the final quarter last year. Click here.

(g) Amazon.com reports best Christmas ever.

(h) I pulled off a $100,000 product launch in November 2008. As I was wrapping up the launch, I eavesdropped on the radio announcing that unemployment rates were going sky high, and the same “financial crisis” message I kept hearing about all year long. Hmm…

(i) I don’t know verifiable is this since I’m not in the MLM scene, but Amway has reported a big jump in their sales in 1997 through 1998, the same period South East Asian countries went through a big financial crisis. I suspect the same will happen again this time.

(j) Health care jobs growing even in tough times…. news here.

17. What did I just say about money being like energy? We can choose to wait and let it happen to us, or respond and make a difference for ourselves and the people around us.

1. This is the 4th consecutive year I am doing a Give Away event on a Chinese New Year. When I did this for the first time in 2006, there were only gifts from 7 online business partners, myself included. As the Give Away event progressed I contacted more reputable business partners. And today, Awesome Fun Gifts return with more than 30 of us.

2. I am aware that a lot of beginning Internet Marketers visit this blog, and so are those who are still in the making. This is why I think you should pay Awesome Fun Gifts a visit: http://amloh.com/recommends/CNYGifts

3. I have contacted more than 30 business partners whom I’ve worked with online, and they have each agreed to put some of their finest wealth building tools and downloads up for grabs. And the condition is that they’re to be given away free of monetary charge, except for only a small catch, which is joining their list.

4. Many of the gifts displayed on that page are relatively new. And myself, I’m in the process of adding a new gift too.

5. So if you’re still building your Online Business from scratch, you will benefit a lot from downloading a wealth of business-building tools, products, membership passes, and downloads from this site. Take note though, it’s up for only 7 days starting today. After the 30th January 2009, I have to fulfill my promise in removing the gifts from the page:

1. I will be visiting Sydney, Australia on 7th – 14th February 2009.

2. I don’t have a fixed agenda for most of the trip since this is mostly a holiday trip. But I won’t pass up the chance to meet Internet Entrepreneurs who hail from Australia. If you’re free on the 8th, Sunday, then let’s meet up. My friend and business partner, Aurelius Tjin, is organizing an informal meet up:

3. Details below…

Date: Sunday, February 8th
Time: 1:00 PM
Location: Blackbird Cafe, Cockle Bay Wharf, Darling Harbour, Sydney
(http://www.blackbirdcafe.com.au)

Blackbird - Map

Confirmed Guests: Myself, Aurelius Tjin (host), Frank Bauer (ViralURL.com), Anna (Affiliate Marketer)
Might Attend: James Schramko, Derrick Siu + more…

4. RSVP by February 5th – so Aurelius can make final bookings for tables. Either post a comment to this blog post to confirm your attendance or if you’re a member of the Warrior Forum, reply to this thread here. You may bring along anyone you wish, just let us know how many will be coming.

5. Agenda of the Meeting: as said, this is an informal gathering. There will be brainstorming, sharing of ideas, potential partnerships and Internet Entrepreneurs socializing with each other.

6. Don’t be surprised if you strike a lucrative Joint Venture deal over a drink! Aurelius, Frank and James are already heavy hitters in what they do, and I have high regards for a lot of marketers coming from Australia; they are certainly in a class of their own and I too look forward to learning from you guys.
