Something to share with you…

We’re almost coming to an end for Year 2009. When I looked back this year, I realized that I’ve been only half as active in the Internet Marketing arena compared to my yesteryears. Yet the income I’ve been enjoying this year is greater…

In spite of the global economic downturn.

In spite of working half as hard as the last 4 years. :-)

I’m not telling you this to brag. I had my own adventure outside the working-from-home style and it’s been a roller coaster ride since. I’ll blog about that some other time. :-)

I owe a lot of my online success and time freedom today to building a solid online business empire in the past few years. The days and nights I’ve been toiling at the computer - from groping in the dark to desperate trial and errors. I remember them as clearly as if it had all happened just yesterday.

I spent a lot of time creating information and digital products to build my bridge to money and time freedom. And hey, it’s SUPER time consuming I tell you. Ask anyone who has created any digital product of his own.

Granted, there are people who can create products overnight (and I’ve done that before) but how often can they put in so much energy? They would just crash and burn.

I started to outsource a lot of my product creation work to freelance ghostwriters later in my online marketing career. But that’s not how I started out in my early days.

If you can relate to any of my challenges when I was just starting out - and you especially hate the idea of writing or creating products - I think you will really like this new PLR package I’m putting into the market next week.

If you have bought any of my previous PLRGold products before then you will know that behind my brand, comes quality.

But the new PLR package I’m releasing soon is going to be, in one word, DIFFERENT.

In a nutshell, this massive PLR collection is based on proven materials I have used to conduct an online marketing workshop and also my past presentations. It is now revamped, updated and compiled for both online and offline multimedia use so you can:

- put your name as the author and become an instant expert in your own rights!

- edit the contents

- sell and keep 100% of the sales!

- save your time, effort and money from creating your own product from scratch!

- repurpose as membership content, blog content, e-zine content, small reports, articles…

- use to conduct your own offline presentations (if you are a coach or speaker)

- repackage as physical home study course or DVD

- and so much more… this is just the tip of the iceberg on what you can do with my latest PLR package you’ll be seeing in the market soon.

I’ve teamed up with my partner Elle Wong on this one, and she’s the brains behind a lot of the works that went into creating this high quality multimedia course.

Incidentally, this is going to be the last product launch I’m doing for the year.

I think I’ve dropped in a few teasers too many. :-) I’m keeping the rest of the details under the wraps so until launch day, I urge you to sign up to the Advanced Notification List now and be the first to know when the 7 Day PLR Special starts!

Mark this time and date on your calendar too:

Only limited Private Label Rights licenses will be sold, and I suspect this will separate the big market players in the making from the rest of the mediocre.

Here’s to your online marketing success… 2010 and beyond! :-)

How to Double Your Sales from Your Follow-Up Email

Want to know how to double your sales on your second email follow-up with little change and effort? :-) I’ve been doing this for almost a year and initially, I didn’t believe its oversimplified approach. But hey, it works!

1. Your second e-mail follow-up can be titled along these formula headlines:

- Have You Seen This Yet?
- Have You Already … ?
- RE: (previous email title)
- REMINDER: …
- Did You … ?
- Only __ Left… (note: perfect for scarcity offers like “Only 48 hours left…” “Only 12 copies left…”)

2. Believe it or not, you can still copy and paste the same promotion email you used in your first broadcast! You can add these small changes though:

- the starting paragraph can be a gentle reminder like “It’s Edmund here with a reminder if you haven’t got your access to …”

- or a rather urgent reminder like “The copies are going off fast and as I’ve expected this will sell out in a manner of days…”

- modify the P.S. to add scarcity or urgent factor like “This is selling fast” “This will be gone by tomorrow” with the rest of the email body rather same or similar to the first promotion email you have blasted out earlier or the day before.

Again, I know this sounds rather oversimplified but then, it really is! That’s how I’ve doubled my sales for successful promotions. :-) Don’t think you’ll have anything against the effort you’ll put in!

Making Use of Your 404 Pages (no script needed)

It’s Edmund here with a business optimization tip: ever thought of doing something to your Error Pages, especially your 404 - Page Not Found error pages? :-)

I’ve implemented this since several months ago, and noticed a slight, though not major, increase in my subscriptions. Probably thanks to the 404 Error Pages.

Here’s what I did:

One of my 404 Error Pages

This is one of the few types of pages that would show up if a visitor visits a web page that doesn’t exist on any of my websites. The visitor may have misspelled the web page URL, or the page genuinely doesn’t exist due to linking error (though I make doubly sure all of my web pages are linked correctly).

However instead of a blank, white page with a not-so-nice message - I turned my 404 Error Page into another means for getting new leads.

Initially, I depended on a script to do this. I wasn’t technically savvy (and still am not). But I learned that it’s actually possible, and actually easier, to do if you would just go to your web hosting’s cpanel.

The steps are easy and you can very well turn your 404 Error Pages - and perhaps other Error Pages if you want - to another means of capturing more new leads.

Here goes…

Step 1. Log into your hosting’s Cpanel. Look for an option called “Error Pages”.

Step 2. Choose 404. As you can see, there are other Error Pages you can choose to edit if you want to, but let’s not go off topic and stick to making use of your 404 ‘real estate’.

Step 3. Paste the HTML codes for your 404 Error Page. Start the web page with highlighting the Error, like Oops… Page Not Found! You can choose to publish your products for sale here, but from experience it’s better to offer a free gift and capture the leads. Since the visitor is probably looking for information.

When you are done, click on SAVE. Voila!

You can spend as little as a few minutes making this tweak to your website, depending on how many you have. :-)

As said, you don’t need a third party script for this and you can carry the change out easily. You only need to do this once and you can literally set and forget. :-)

Of Traffic and List

Every webmaster with a website needs to get traffic. For anyone selling anything through a website, he needs a type of traffic that’s different.

THE BUYERS TRAFFIC.

The question really is, “what do I do with all the traffic I get to my site?” It’s already a given that not everyone who comes to your website will become your customer. In as phenomenal as your conversion rates may be - let’s say 4% where every 4 in 100 visitors will go on to become your customers - what do you do with the other 96%?

BUILD A LIST.

1. It’s already a given that NOT everyone will become your customer on first contact. People who leave your website without buying anything might not return again.

2. Build a relationship and further rapport. So this is where list building comes in. If you can’t gain trust on first contact, then it needs to be built over time through your email marketing efforts.

3. Sell other products and future releases. Whether your prospects buy your Front-End or not, the buck musn’t stop there. True business people make offers all the time. True marketers sell, all the time.

4. Source of free affiliates? While you can further convert more prospects into customers through your follow-up email marketing, there will still be a fraction more of non-buyers. Don’t be quick to treat them as ‘dead wood’ yet. Some are interested in your offer but may be financially challenged at the moment. However they can still tell others about your product and this is where throwing in a free affiliate program might just do the trick!
