Why I Started This Blog

Hi There!

Edmund Loh here. This is my first official blog post ever for this website and thanks for checking out!

A brief self introduction: I am an Internet Entrepreneur and I have been working from home since 3rd March 2005. If you have been marketing online for quite some time or heard about Private Label Rights, then chances are you might have heard of me before. I am primarily based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia and I am frequently seen in Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur and occasionally neighboring country Singapore.

Okay… So What Is This Blog Going To Be About?

Although I run several websites, up until now I don’t have an official Internet Marketing blog. Okay, I did have a couple of them in the past but like most people, I quickly grew bored of updating (therefore those blogs died just as quickly!)

Most Internet Marketing blogs are often boring, and I hope this blog doesn’t see the same direction again.

This blog marks my third attempt at blogging on Internet Marketing and after several mistakes later, I should be making progress with this blog, not forgetting that I am doing it under my name for a blog title this time!

Previously, the only blog I updated regularly was my Personal Homepage, EdmundLoh.name. This is where I blog about my journey towards personal development and also photos from my travel and adventures, in and abroad. I have been writing on this blog since early 2007 and for someone who doesn’t consider himself a professional blogger, I think I did a good job getting regular visitors.

While I had fun blogging at my Personal Homepage when I’m not at my business, EdmundLoh.name was drawing 2 distinct group of visitors: the Internet Marketers and old friends and acquaintances.

At times, it was a struggle for me when deciding what to write on EdmundLoh.name. The Internet Marketing crowd would naturally expect Internet Marketing related content. On the other hand, my friends from other backgrounds are more interested in anything BUT those.

This is why I decided that it is time to create an Internet Marketing Blog at Edmundloh.com.

As EdmundLoh.name is my Personal Homepage, Edmund Loh dot com will be my official Internet Marketing Blog. If you want to learn about Private Label Rights or share with my insights on Internet Marketing and doing business online, I hope this blog deserves a place in your list of bookmarked favorites eventually.

Admittedly, I didn’t make this decision overnight because as you know, updating a blog like this requires consistent commitment. While I will not be blogging every single day, I strive for a weekly frequency. If it’s something I find valuable for sharing, it will be on this blog page.

I will be posting up rare content you probably cannot find anywhere else and case studies while I experiment the next breakthrough. That being said, I’m not going to make this a typical blog where you see reprinted content or even those ‘10 tips on how to write an effective article’ kind of post. (how many times have you seen that anyway?)

Be warned though: I can be blunt at times. I am uncomfortable with sugar coating so I won’t hesitate to call a spade a spade. Yet if you aspire to take your business online or make the Internet your first stepping stone to wealth building, in most cases my opinions will matter.

At this time of writing, I am still waiting for the freelancer to get back to me with the new custom WordPress design for this site, so right now I am using a temporary layout.
